SF State's Mobile App Redesign Wins Best App Recognition

ITS is excited to share that the SF State mobile app has been honored with the Best App Redesign 2024 award at the Appademy Awards! Out of hundreds of submissions from universities nationwide, the app was nominated in four categories and selected as a finalist in three—Best Personalized Experience, Best Use of Communications, and Best App Redesign—and emerged victorious in the Best App Redesign category. 

The redesigned app enhances the student experience with interactive maps, an updated class schedule, simplified enrollment, and seamless payments. Congratulations to the ITS Web & Mobile team and our colleagues in Strategic Marketing and Communications and Disability Programs and Resource Center for their role in bringing this vision to life. 

The app is available for download on Windows and iOS devices. We invite the campus community to continue providing feedback via our survey as we work to improve it and further enhance campus life for all.
